Jamf Pro 10.9 is here! After previewing this update at the Jamf Nation User Conference, we are excited to take the wrapping off the latest version of the powerful Jamf Pro 10 series.
With new features that streamline deployment and enhance privacy controls, this is the most powerful version of the Jamf Pro 10 series to date.
Highlights of what’s new
Streamlined deployment
If you’ve been around Jamf for a while, you’ve heard us say, “There is no step three.” It’s a reference to making deployment of devices to your users as easy as possible.
The Enrollment Package feature of PreStage package deployment, available with this release, is another step toward that goal. This is one more way you can ensure that deploying new macOS hardware is the most frictionless and intuitive process available.
Better privacy
We are continuing to enhance how you can leverage and manage the Privacy Preferences Policy Control (PPPC) by enabling app whitelisting.
Approving permissions for critical business applications no longer needs to fall on individual team members. Instead, pre-approve apps from Jamf Pro so your teams can focus on doing what they do best.
In-product guidance
Finally, we are introducing Jamf Engage, a new way for our teams to communicate with you within Jamf Pro. Engage unlocks in-product guidance regarding versatile workflows as well as curated resources alongside new feature releases.
